Before 1990, more than 10 000 of S\u041c-1, SM-1M, S\u041c-2, S\u041c-2\u041c, S\u041c-1210, S\u041c-1634, TVS\u041e-1, PS 1001 complexes were produced based on developments by SRPA \u201cImpulse\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The complexes were composed by a manufacturing plant according to the customer\u2019s specification based on processors and aggregate modules from the computer SM nomenclature. A \u201c2 out of 3\u201d majority redundancy principle was used in the complex.<\/p>\n<p>The PS 1001 software included the following: packets of software units to compose different types of operating systems (single-machine and multimachine, real-time and time-sharing); a system to prepare programs; task-oriented packets and program libraries.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1130\" src=\"https:\/\/new.impulse.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/ps-1001.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"650\" srcset=\"https:\/\/impulse.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/ps-1001.png 1000w, https:\/\/impulse.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/ps-1001-768x499.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>PS-1001<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since <strong>1976<\/strong>, supplies of digital control complexes to nuclear power plants started. The first complexes based on the \u041c-7000 redundant control machines were commissioned at Beloiarsk, Novovoronezh, Rivne NPPs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 1980, an I&amp;C system for sporting events based on the \u041c-7000 two-processor machines was commissioned within an \u201cOlimpiada-80\u201d I&amp;C system.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>\u201cOlimpiada\u201d I&amp;C system<\/strong> was a complex of three systems: an \u201cOrganizing Committee\u201d I&amp;C system, an I&amp;C system for sporting events and an \u201cInformation\u201d I&amp;C system.<\/p>\n<p>The I&amp;C system for sporting events operated based on three regional information computer centers (RIVTs) in Moscow and one in the Yachting Sport Center in Tallinn.
