Development of control computing complexes: \u201cAutomatic dispatching system\u201d for Siverskodonetsk PA \u201cAzot\u201d; \u201cAutomatic operator\u201d for Chernorechensk Chemical Plant; \u201cAdviser of a blast furnace master\u201d for \u201cAzovstal\u201d Plant, Dnipropetrovsk, Kryvyi Rih Iron and Steel Works.<\/p>\n

Functions of the \u201cAutomatic dispatching system\u201d<\/strong>: monitoring of operation of the ammonia and alcohol production; logical analysis of the violations of the technological processes; automatic control of the content of gases in the ammonia production; record keeping of the supply streams and calculation of the technical-economic indicators of each shop and the production in whole..<\/p>\n

A device for a communication with a facility was a telemechanical subsystem which allowed to measure nearly 1000 parameters with the cycle of 20 sec. Information was acquired via radial channels through group transducers. The output device generated 200 discrete commands, 24 analogue control signals 0-5 mA. The processor was built based on ferrite-diode logical elements.<\/p>\n

Functions of the \u201cAutomatic operator\u201d<\/strong>: direct digital PID control of the nitric acid concentrating; recording of the main parameters and warning on the violations of the technological process..<\/p>\n

The computing complex consisted of four parts:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A device for a communication with a facility.<\/li>\n
  2. The processor built on ferrite-diode logical elements, with a random-access memory on ferrite cores with the size of 256 18-digit binary words.<\/li>\n
  3. A read only memory to store control programs, constants and setpoints.<\/li>\n
  4. An output device for conversion of digital codes into signals controlling the pneumatic actuators (pneumatic valves), which assured control of the technological process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
