In numerous reports and discussions, the current issues of operation and ways of nuclear energy development were discussed.<\/p>\n<p>The expert of the \u201cIn-Core Monitoring Systems\u201d division made a report\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/impulse.ua\/images\/Ukrainian_In-Core_Monitoring_System_ImCore_for_VVER-1000_Reactors_2025_Bulatom.pdf\">\u00abUkrainian In-Core Monitoring System \u2018ImCore\u2019 for VVER-1000 Reactors: Current Status and Development Prospects\u00bb<\/a>. In the presentation, the expert emphasized that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The first national calculation complex \u201cImCore\u201d had been developed in Ukraine, its comprehensive verification and validation had been performed;<\/li>\n<li>Based on the national calculation complex \u201cImCore\u201d, the new-generation SVRK \u2013 SVRK-M2 \u2013 had been implemented, which was operated at that moment at four power units;<\/li>\n<li>SVRK-M2 was introduced at three more power units, and the equipment of all NPP power units in Ukraine was planned;<\/li>\n<li>SVRK-M2 could be used at foreign NPPs equipped with VVER reactors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SVRK-M2 ensures the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>monitoring of \u201cmixed\u201d loads with fuel of any suppliers including loads with fuel rod assembly of a different fuel rod height;<\/li>\n<li>monitoring of loads with fuel profiled in axial and radial manners;<\/li>\n<li>possibility to directly monitor linear power density at the fuel element level;<\/li>\n<li>electronic album of neutron-physical characteristics based on predictive functions of the system;<\/li>\n<li>informational support for an operator in power maneuvering modes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report aroused great interest among representatives of organizations operating NPPs with VVER-type reactors.
