- expert support of actions of operating personnel of MCR as to power units control in an emergency mode and when liquidating accident consequences;
- monitoring a technological mode and forming recommendations as to its optimization at normal operation;
- receiving and processing information from adjacent diagnostic and information systems;
- providing operating personnel with information required.

The main function of the boron concentration monitoring system based on neutron solution analyzers NAR-I – automatic continuous measurement of boron-10 (boric acid) concentration in coolant at NPP power units with WWER-type reactors.
