SRPA “Impulse” and SE “NNEGC “Energoatom” signed a contract for the supply of complex reactor diagnostics systems and primary circuit pipeline displacement monitoring systems for three nuclear power plant units: Rivne NPP-3, Khmelnytskyi NPP-1, and South Ukraine NPP-3. The project implementation partners are Framatome GmbH (Germany) and Vuje A.S (Slovakia).

The works were conducted in accordance with the contract financed by EBRD/EURATOM loans. Due to introduction of these systems, the following functions were implemented: the process equipment state analysis based on noise background, detection of vibrations of fuel assemblies and in-core devices, which can damage nuclear fuel, detection of poorly fixed or loose parts of the equipment; calculation of residual fatigue of the primary circuit pipelines.

Until 2018, Impulse won fifteen more tenders for the supply of instrumentation and control systems to Ukrainian NPPs.

MPC-U was commissioned at the Dubove station (maximum speed – 160 km/h).
