MODIFIED PROCESS INFORMATION SYSTEM SYSTEM COMMISSIONED FOR TRIAL OPERATION AT KHMELNYTSKYI NPP

In June 2026, the first-stage modified process information system was commissioned for trial operation at the Power Unit 2 of the Khmelnytskyi NPP.

This was preceded by installation and pre-commissioning works, as well as positive results from autonomous and comprehensive tests. A working commission, headed by the chief engineer of the Khmelnitsky NPP, decided to accept the first-stage modified Process information system into trial operation.

Process information system performs all the key functions required for the reliable and trouble-free operation of the power unit: it records the parameters and characteristics of the process in all operating modes of the power unit, provides information to personnel, monitors both critical safety functions and key safety parameters, calculates and analyses the technical and economic performance of the equipment, and provides reference information on the process equipment.
