COMPLEX DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM’S UPPER LEVEL EQUIPMENT IS READY TO BE SUPPLIED TO THE RIVNE NPP

In February 2026, the complex diagnostics system’s upper level (VR KSD) of the Unit 4 of the Rivne NPP successfully passed the acceptance tests.

VR KSD performs analysis of diagnostic information to detect and forecast the equipment’s technical condition of the primary coolant circuit.

Based on the results of work, the acceptance commission consisting of the representatives of NNEGC “Energoatom”, the Rivne NPP, and SRPA “Impulse” concluded that:

• VR KSD with the set of design, technological, operational documentation and software documentation fully meets the requirements set forth in technical assignment, regulations, rules, and standards on nuclear and radiation safety including the requirements for cybersecurity.
• VR KSD shall be recognized as ready to be supplied to the Rivne NPP.
