In February 2022, SRPA “Impulse” was visited by the senior management of JSC “Ukrainian Railways”.

The delegation got acquainted with technologies for creating instrumentation and control systems for critical infrastructure facilities. The latest models of railway automation equipment manufactured for JSC “Ukrainian Railways”, Lithuanian and Estonian railways were demonstrated: MPC-U, MRC-U, MDC-U, SLB “ImproTRAIN-250”, AKRO and others.

 

The following I&C systems were commissioned at the Khmelnitsky, Rivne and South Ukraine NPPs:

  • SVRK-M with integration of the BEACON-TSM neutron physics calculation subsystem from Westinghouse;
  • SVRShD vibration and noise diagnostics system of a reactor;
  • SKPT coolant leakage monitoring system;
  • boric acid concentration monitoring systems;
  • SNE RO automatic regulating system and others.

 

In June 2022, through the joint efforts of specialists from JSC “Ukrainian Railways” and SRPA “Impulse”, the interlocking system MPC-U was commissioned at the Vasylkiv-2 station as well as the semi-automatic blocking system MPAB-U on the Vasylkiv-1 – Vasylkiv-2 open track, which had been dismantled during the military actions.

As part of a project financed by an EBRD loan, a centralized traffic control system was commissioned on the “Pomichna–Chernoliska” section, which is part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).

 

As part of a contract with Siemens Mobility, factory acceptance testing (FAT) was carried out for the “Tartu–Koidula” section of the Estonian railway.

 

In 2023 commissioning of SVRK-M2 with the ImCore national calculation complex at the Rive NPP power unit 3 and the South Ukraine NPP power unit 3.

 

Centralized traffic control systems were commissioned on five sections of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) in Ukraine.

 

20 rolling stock remote monitoring equipment complexes AKRO-B were put into permanent operation on the Odessa and South-Western railways.

 

A contract was signed to equip the entire rolling stock of JSC “Lithuanian Railways” with ImproTRAIN-250 SLB sets (186 sets).

 

Microprocessor axle counting systems MSSO-U were commissioned on the “Vasylkiv-1 – Vasylkiv-Centre” open track.
