In April, the state acceptance testing of the MSKU-4 microprocessor-based programmable logic controllers took place at the site of SRPA “Impulse”.
The line of the project-composed MSKU-4 microprocessor-based programmable logic controllers is designated to be used in:
- fault-tolerant automation systems for particularly important facilities (of the nuclear and thermal power engineering, railway transport, oil and gas sector, etc.);
- subsystems of a lower level of I&C;
- intelligent autonomous instrumentation and control systems.
The MSKU-4 controllers are development of MSKU 2 and MSKU 3 microprocessor-based programmable logic controllers.
The acceptance test committee came to the following conclusions:
- the MSKU-4 controllers are in accordance with the design documentation, the nuclear and radiation safety norms and rules, the requirements of standards and the draft requirements specification;
- the design, technological, operational, and software documents, as well as the technology level and quality of manufacture of MSKU-4 meet the requirements of the normative documents;
- the state acceptance test results for MSKU-4 confirm compliance of the metrological characteristics of MSKU-4, as a measuring equipment tool.
