To monitor execution of the contracts within the framework of implementation of the measures of the Complex (Consolidated) Safety Upgrade Program for Nuclear Power Plant Units (CCSUP) financed using credit funds of EBRD/EURATOM, an expert delegation consisting of the following persons was working at the site of PJSC “SRPA “Impulse” on 10-12 July 2018:
The Director, the Deputy Directors, and the Managers of the specific projects relating to the CCSUP measures took part from SRPA “Impulse” in the joint meetings. The delegation members found out more about all stages of the complete manufacturing cycle of the instrumentation and control systems for NPP units: they listened to reports of the Deputy Directors, interviewed the Project Managers and other specialists, visited the R&D departments, the experimental and research site, the production areas and workshops, the independent testing laboratory, and the enterprise’s museum.
At the site, the analogs of the systems were shown, using which different situations, including emergency ones, can be simulated on a real time basis, if required.
Advanced developments were demonstrated.
The experts paid particular attention to the quality monitoring system in force at the enterprise. The challenging issues of equipment supplies and commissioning were discussed.
The independent testing laboratory LLC “Testing laboratory “EUTEST”” did not remained unnoticed by the delegation as well, modern testing equipment manufactured in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, etc. is used at the laboratory.
The delegation members took part in the testing of the instrumentation and control system of the instrumentation of the turbine division normal operation system (I&C of KIP of NOS TO) for unit 3 of Zaporizhzhya NPP.
At the final meeting, the experts thanked the specialists of the enterprise for the constructive work, comprehensive answers to all questions of interest, noted that the audit tasks had been implemented in a complete scope.
