MICROPROCESSOR-BASED CONVERTERS FOR TRACK CIRCUITS

PCht-2

A PCht-2 converter – a microprocessor-based device designated for power supply and coding of track circuits. PCht-2 converts single-phase alternating voltage 230V with frequency 50Hz into alternating voltage 115V with frequency 25Hz. Output power of the converter - 150W. In PCht-2, a possibility of phase synchronization between all PChts used is implemented.

PCht-3

A PCht-3 converter – a microprocessor-based device designated for power supply and coding of track circuits. PCht-3 converts single-phase alternating voltage 230V with frequency 50Hz into alternating voltage 230V with frequency 25Hz. Output power of the converter - 150W. In PCht-3, a possibility of phase synchronization between all PChts used is implemented.

Each PCht-series converter manufactured by SRPA “Impulse” allows simplifying a track circuit layout having replaced three devices previously used for this purpose. At that, layout reliability increases significantly due to exclusion of interunit connections, electromechanical devices and a capacitor unit.
