THE ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF THE INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEM OF THE AUTOMATIC REGULATING SYSTEM OF THE REACTOR DIVISION NORMAL OPERATION SYSTEM (I&C SYSTEM OF SAR OF NOS RO) FOR UNIT 2 OF KHMELNITSKY NPP HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT

In December 2021, the acceptance testing of the I&C system of SAR of NOS RO for unit 2 of Khmelnitsky NPP was carried out at the site of SRPA “Impulse”.

The I&C system of SAR of NOS RO is designated to implement functions of receipt, normalization, and processing of input signals from primary measuring transducers, to execute automatic control functions, to shape output current and discrete signals, to receive information on the state of technological process parameters with transmission to the unit’s process information system.

The aim of the acceptance testing of the I&C system of SAR of NOS RO was as follows: confirmation that the supply set of the SW and the equipment for unit 2 of KhNPP meets the requirements of the terms of reference and the design documentation.

Based on the results of the acceptance testing, the commission consisting of representatives of Khmelnitsky NPP, the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, Techenergo, and SRPA “Impulse” stated that the I&C system of SAR of NOS RO submitted meets the requirements of the terms of reference, the documentation (design, technological, operational, software) package completely and is ready to be supplied to unit 2 of Khmelnitsky NPP.
