TYPE TESTING OF MICROPROCESSOR-BASED RELAY PROTECTION AND AUTOMATICS DEVICES ImPR1

At the end of September, type tests of a series of upgraded microprocessor-based relay protection and automatics devices ImPR1 were successfully carried out at the site of SRPA"Impulse"

Representatives of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, NNEGC "Energoatom", South-Ukraine NPP, Rivne NPP, Khmelnitsky NPP and and PJSC “SRPA “Impulse” took part in the tests.

The purpose of the tests was to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of using new technical solutions and components, as well as compliance of the upgraded ImPR1 with the requirements of the current regulatory documentation.

The commission reviewed the design and technological documentation, carried out experimental checks of compliance of devices with indicators of functional purpose.

In the final act, the results of type tests were recognized as positive, they confirmed the compliance of the equipment, design and technological documentation with the requirements of regulatory documents.
