PARTICIPATION OF SRPA “IMPULSE” IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “PROSPECTS FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF INNOVATIONS IN NUCLEAR ENERGY”

SRPA “Impulse” has supported the VI International scientific and technical conference participating as a sponsor and a partner.

Representatives of SRPA “Impulse” took part in the measure. Olexandr Trofymenko, the specialist of “In-core monitoring systems” division, made a report “The experience of implementing the in-core monitoring systems of the new generation SVRK-M2 based on the national calculation complex “ImCore””. The report highlighted that:

• the first national calculation complex “ImCore” had been developed in Ukraine on the basis of which the SVRK-2M, the SVRK of the new generation, was realized;
• comprehensive verification and validation of the national calculation complex “ImCore” had been performed;
• SVRK-2M was used at four power units, and the equipment of other NPP power units in Ukraine was planned.

After the report a discussion took place on actual theoretical and applied issues regarding the in-core monitoring, in particular the difference between the algorithms of calculating neutron-physical and thermal-hydraulic parameters for VVER-1000 reactors of a large series B320 and of small series В302 and B338 were discussed.

The results of the participation in the conference confirmed the relevance of performed and planned projects on the SVRK development.
