A COMMERCIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE VIBRONOISE DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM AT SOUTH-UKRAINE NPP-2

PJSC "SRPA "Impulse" continues to fulfill its obligations to ensure the implementation of a Complex (Consolidated) Safety Upgrade Program for the Units of NPP.

In August 2022, it was introduced into the commercial commissioning of the vibronoise diagnostics system (SVRShD) took place at South-Ukraine NPP-2.

The system is intended for monitoring and diagnostics of vibration state of RF’s primary circuit equipment, for detection of abnormal vibrations caused by change in pillar rigidity, weakening of equipment attachment points, or intensification of vibration causing powers.

In the results of acceptance testing, the commission noted that the trial operation works were completed in full, completed with positive results, the system equipment is in full compliance with the requirements of the terms of reference and are ready for commercial operation.

Based on the positive test results, it was decided to carry out the SVRShD into commercial operation at Unit 2 SUNPP.
