MODIFIED REGISTRATION AND DISPLAY DEVICES WERE INTRODUCED INTO COMMERCIALLY COMMISSIONED AS PART OF THE AKNP-I OF POWER UNIT No. 3 RNPP

At the RNPP site, a commission consisting of representatives of the customer, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate and PJSC “SRPA “Impulse”, acceptance tests of registration and display devices were carried out, designed to upgrade the neutron flux monitoring system AKNP-I backup control room

The purpose of the modernization is to improve the safety of reactor facilities by replacing individual devices in the AKNP-I, the life of which has been completed, with modern devices with improved characteristics from the AKNP-IF.

The tests were carried out with the reactor plant operating at full power. The results of tests carried out in accordance with the program and methodology agreed in the prescribed manner, confirmed the compliance of the completeness and quality of the implementation of functions with the requirements of the terms of reference and regulatory documents.

The сommission made a decision to put registration and display devices into commercial operation as part of the AKNP-I backup control room of power unit No. 3.
