ACCEPTANCE TESTS OF SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE TOOLS FOR MODERNIZATION MSKU-4 FROM OF SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE COMPLEX OF CONTROL AND MEASURING DEVICES OF THE NORMAL OPERATION SYSTEM FOR THE REACTOR DIVISION (SHC of CMD of NOS RD) HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT

In April 2023, at the site of SNPO "Impulse" in Kiev, a commission consisting of representatives of NNEGC "Energoatom", KhNPP, State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine and SRPA “Impulse” conducted acceptance tests of software and hardware tools (SHT) for the modernization of the industrial controller MSKU-4 in order to implement a digital communication channel of the SHC of CMD of NOS RD of the KhNPP power unit No. 2 with the automatic regulating system NOS RD.

The commission examined the materials of preliminary and type tests of the SHT, carried out the necessary experiments, checked the completeness and quality of the technical documentation.

Based on the results of the work, the commission concluded that the SHT fully comply with the requirements of the terms of reference, norms, rules and standards for nuclear and radiation safety, including the requirements of the updated standard SOU NAEK 100:2022 “Instrumentation and control systems important for safety of nuclear power plants”.

The test report noted that the design, technological, operational documentation and software documentation meet the requirements of the terms of reference and are sufficient for use.

The commission recommended the SHT for delivery to the Khmelnytsky NPP.
